There have been suggestions for us to have a neighbourhood street party and get together. I feel its an excellent idea and we can have this before the start of the fasting month, perhaps on Saturday August 15th from 5:00pm onwards. We can hold this along Jalan 4/14 (where the drums are located). What do you all think ?

ReplyDeleteStreet party wud really help to improve our sense of community, I strongly support this idea, lets get together and stop being strangers to one another ! On another point , our home has just been visited by a newly birthed family of kittens with mother ! 3 of them appeared on our sun roof. When we asked the Ibrahim to help take away the kittens , he said he wasn't on duty and asked my wife to call someone else !This is bad service - anyone else have cat problems , pls strongly notify Mr C.T Ong.
Further to my husband Leslie Chong's suggestion for street party, lets consider a lantern festival party, the actual date is on 4th of October but we propose 3rd of October evening 6pm onwards. all residents are wellcome, please contribute any plate of snack food or simple home made cookies or kuih. the residents committee to contribute tables,chairs and drinks. Also please bring along your favourite lanterns for a wonderful time!!
